Fr.Manu's MAITRI : Fr. Manu stood for MAITRI. Maitri is more than commiseration. A commiseration is engulfing sadness over others’ sufferings. It is a feeling running through an individual and may not transform into motions mitigating sufferings or sorrow. Maitri can be loosely defined as compassion revving up to redressals of the needy. It is a transactional character leading to outreach performance for shoring up the strength of people to counter and win over elements that try to subjugate others for selfish pursuits. Fr. Manu's Maitri was most relevantly focused on Saandrors (SCs) and Aandrors (STs) in India, through whom only equity in the Indian society could be established, if at all the kingdom of god should glide down to Indian Humanity. Maitri transcends the over-arching perceptions of marginalization and sharpens on focus and attention to Saandrors (SCs) and Aandrors (STs), without whose strengthening no processes of marginalization can be plugged or blotched in the society. Fr. Manu's anniversaries should therefore be rightly observed as celebrating the efficiencies of Saandrors (SCs) and Aandrors (STs) and furthering their blossoming. This Year (November 2022) will focus on elevating Saandrors (SCs) and Aandrors (STs) to the higher levels of education. |
